Stipend support of $4000 to $5000 is normally granted for a 8-10 week summer research experience. The proposed project must be a full-time commitment and be the primary activity for the duration of the fellowship. When necessitated by the academic objectives of the project, research experiences of shorter duration may be considered for support at proportionate levels. In exceptional cases, support may be considered for other research-related expenses.
Students looking for funding for winter or spring break for related projects should consider the Bruce L. Cohen Fund Research Grants.
The Solomon Research Fellowship in LGBT Studies is one of the CIPE Yale College Summer Research Fellowships
Specific questions about projects should be addressed to Maureen Gardner, senior administrative assistant for Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies & Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Studies (maureen.gardner@yale.edu).
