Awarded for an internship or project of personal educational value or humanitarian service to others.
3. One letter of recommendation from a faculty advisor.
4. A copy of your Yale transcript.
Proposals will be judged strictly on their merit, not on financial need. However, in determining the amount of an award for a student on financial aid, the committee may be willing to consider earnings replacement as a valid expense.
IF FUNDS ARE AWARDED, you will be required to:
1. Submit a signed “Assumption of Risk Waiver” to the Head of College Office for any travel abroad.
2. Register your travel with the Yale Office of International Affairs.
3. Determine if you require IRB approval. IRB approval or exemption must be submitted to the Head of College Office prior to funds being distributed.4. Contact daysi.cardona@yale.edu to complete paperwork in the Tax Department (432-5530) to avoid delays with the distribution of checks. (International students only)
5. Submit a brief written report to kathryn.dunn@yale.edu in the Ezra Stiles Head of College Office at the beginning of Fall term.
