The proposed internship must be a full-time commitment and be the primary activity for the duration of the fellowship.
Wendy Elizabeth Blanning (1956-1976), a member of the Class of 1978, was an English major with professional plans in the field of architecture. For several summers she worked at architecture firms in New Haven, New York City, and Boston, but she found it increasingly difficult to pursue this career interest and still earn enough money for the following year in college.

This fellowship is not intended to support internships which have a participation fee or a program fee.
Internships in the financial sector are not eligible.
Interested applicants may schedule an appointment with a Fellowship Adviser; however, meeting with an adviser is not mandatory.
